Volunteer. |
| There are two ways of spreading the light; to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it. – Anonymous |

| Since 1980, Family Hospice and Palliative Care has been providing compassionate comfort care to patients with a life-limiting illness and their families. Today, as the largest not-for-profit in the region, Family Hospice and Palliative Care serves communities in eleven counties in Western Pennsylvania.Volunteers
are the soul of hospice. They play a critical role by always
lending a hand or opening their hearts. Volunteers are an important
part of the hospice team – sitting quietly at the bedside
of a patient, running errands for a family, or working to maintain
charts in the office. By volunteering for Family Hospice and Palliative Care, you help to enhance the lives of those who live in your community. |
